Early Brass Cornet distributed by Wm. Meinl, NY and probably made by Bowland & Fuchs whose initials appear in a logo. No serial number showing. Original (signed) MP, Cleaning rod, lyre, slide, lead pipe extension and case with key. Case is clean with no odor. Very few dings. Slides pull. Valve action is fast and free. CONN "The Wonder" Cornet #98,xxx, Pat 1886. This copy has the Push-Push gadget on the main crook for quick tuning. It also has the double spit valve. Original lead pipe has been replaces, and there are some some other solder marks. Original case. Valves in good condition.
King Silver Tone Cornet in Bb, Sterling Silver Bell, original leather case, cleaning equipment and lyre. Serial #178xxx. Dent free. Hand engraved bell.
An interesting take off on the earlier Echo Bell Horns, the Jazz-O-Phone, c.1926, starts with a standard trumpet and then aims it downward like a Sax. One thumb lever sends the sound through a Harmon like muted bell, while the other thumb lever controls the WA WA. No makers name is showing, but I understand that it is German.
I most interesting Trumpet by Johann Sattler, Graslitz, with a US Patent, having rotary valves operated by almost standard pistons. Very good condition with a few small dings. No case or MP.
A rarely seen Octavin, conceived and made by the famous maker, Adler, Germany. This was Adlers attempt to make a Clarinet that would over blow at the octave like a Saxophone. Original case. In excellent condition with all keys working.
An interesting Piston valve French Horn by Hawkes. It comes with five large crooks, four of which are marked Re, Mib, Mi, and Fa, plus an auxiliary crook.The horn is in excellent condition. No case.
An early Besson Alto Horn or Mellophone in both Eb and F. The F attachment and original mouthpiece are included. 2nd valve cap absent. Valves move well. Denting on outer bell crook.
