Thanks to my friend Steve, I was able to put together the horn with the original case. Echo Bell Cornet by Distin #486 in Bb with A attachment. 2MPs, strange music clip, and many lead pipes. All over decorative engravings. Excellent condition. Gold washed bell. Double spit. Pride of my collection. Presentation case to "Wm. Shellard, Keyport, NJ." I even have the key to the case.
A presentation String Rotary Cornet by Hall and Quimby, Boston and presented to H Frank Preston 1879. Totally restored and in playing condition. Has screw type tuner on lead pipe. period MP.
On the shield shaped logo "M.Slater, Maker.N.Y. Excellent condition except for 2nd valve screw. Good garland. All slides pull. Valves turn. No dents. Original MP.
A wood Albert system Clarinet marked Carl Fischer, who was the importer for Buffet. Typical Buffet dark rivets in keys. 4 rings and no rollers with a curved octave key. In a good case. Requires spring on octave key. Closed crack in bell.
