A rare 'Cello Banjo, Tears in skin. One Shoe is broken, but all parts are there. Interesting open resonator chamber at bottom. Heavy wood Back (Resonator) in good condition. Can easily be set up to play. No case. Included are a replacement skin of the correct size, two bottom pegs, an unused 'Cello bridge and a new set of metal covered strings.

One of the nuttiest musical inventions to come out of the 19th century, the Alexander Violin, Patented Dec.20th 1887, takes most of the hard work out of Violin playing. One can either stand it on end and spin it 'till the correct note is under the bow. Or, by holding a smaller Handle(Missing from back) one can place it under the chin and again swivel until the correct note sounds. I have replicated just enough bridges to get the idea across.

An exceptionally nice home made 5 string Banjo in excellent condition. First 7 frets are normal height, the rest are flush to the fingerboard. Some interesting details yet all of then signs of a real "home made". Nylon strung and in playing condition.
