A No Name 5 key block mounted band flute in Rosewood. Salt Spoon keys and metal mounts. No head cap. Cork is in place. Head and barrel have a crack which does not effect playing as they are metal lined. All keys are working. One piece body.
A one key, block mounted, short Flute by J.C.Haynes, Boston. Mass. 1820-33. Boxwood with Brass key in excellent condition. Four sections. Overall length is 17 3/4 inches, and blowing length is 15 7/16 inches. No case.
A four key, block mounted, short Flute by C.Peloubet, a New York Maker from 1829-35. Boxwood with Ivory rings in excellent condition (except pads. All key and springs very good. Overall length is 20 inches, while blowing length is 17 3/8 inches. No case.
A block mounted four keyed Boxwood and Ivory Flute by E. Baack, NY 1839-72. End cap absent. Cork in place. All key are working. No cracks. Good blowing edge. No case.
A boxwood and Ivory four key, block mounted Flute by Firth,Pond & Co.N.York c.1863. All keys are working well and pads look usable. No cracks or other damage. Cutout by top finger hole was an attempt to put a key there, but does not interfere with normal fingering. No case. Straight.
A Rosewood Flute in five sections. Of the eight block mounted keys, the lower two are Zinc and need springs. Metal covered Blow hole. Crack in head and barrel do not effect playing, as they are metal lined. No makers marks. Length is 25 1/2 inches. Blowing length is22 3/4 inches
A RARE Whitely, 5 key Bassoon, possibly the only one on record. Mark on boot shows "(Eagle under curved line) (?) Whitley, Utica". Of the five keys, four are working and one is absent except for pin mount. Wood shows use, but no cracks. Wing has narrow diagonal sliver missing and does not effect finger holes. No bocal. Shipped in a non-fitting case.
A six key Bassoon marked "(crown logo) Adler, A Paris (star logo)". The wood on this instruments is in excellent condition, not withstanding a newly made bell end. The six keys, however, are not. All six springs are damaged, as is the one key cover. Absolutely worth restoring. A modern, but fitting, bocal is included but no case.
