Clarinet in Black wood and ivory by (I think) Jean Francois a Paris 1827-40. This instrument is in poor condition but may be worth saving if you like J.F.Martin's work. Bell has large wood chip. Lowest joint is good, middle joint has been well pinned, upper joint, which has 2 block mounted and three pin mounted keys (one needs spring), and has a long surface crack. Barrel is cracked. Comes with original MP. Length is 23 3/8 inches
A well built unsigned 5 key Clarinet, Boxwood and Ivory. All keys work well and all joints are tight. Faults are; chip off of lower block and one ivory ring replaced with string. Ready to play except for pads. length is 20 5/8 inches. Original Mp (and reed)

A boxwood and Ivory 13 key (simple system) Clarinet marked "(bee) Martin, *Freres*, A.Paris, (initial logo)" Brass keys and Thumb rest. Light crack in barrel and one ring. All keys and springs respond well. Length is 20 3/8 inches.

A worthwhile project, this 5 key Boxwood and Ivory Clarinet by Meacham c. 1812 requires the following to be made playable. Top key replacement (key cover is there), spring on right hand pinky key, and Ivory bell ring. Some wood missing at bell edge. there are 2 closed, short cracks, both of which are contained by Ivory rings. Length is 21 1/4 inches.
A five key Clarinet by Firth, Hall & Pond, NY, in good working condition, missing its barrel. Center hole on lower joint has a brass ring insert, possibly for intonation change. Length with out barrel is 21 1/4 inches.
An interesting 6 key conversion to 8 key Clarinet. Unsigned. The two keys , which are usually added by pin mounts, here are added by inserting "post mounts" in order to accommodate the two added keys. All keys and springs are working, Damage consists of missing top and bottom Ivory ring and close crack in bell ring. Added thumb rest ,Length is 23 5/8 inches.
